Cause 1: Auto Power Mode is activated.
Countermeasure 1: Check the setting of Auto Power Mode.
If the Auto Power Mode switch is set to "AUTO", and the PC with NAS Navigator2 installed is not running on the network, the TeraStation will turn off.
- Set the Auto Power Mode switch to "MANUAL".
- Start the computer with NAS Navigator2 installed.
Cause 2: Sleep Timer function is activated.
Countermeasure 2: Check the setting of Sleep Timer.
If Sleep Timer is set with the Auto Power Mode switch set to "MANUAL", TeraStation turns off at the specified time.
Sleep Timer cannot be used with the Auto Power Mode switch set to "AUTO".
Check/change the time and settings of Sleep Timer.
- In the Web Admin interface, navigate to [System]-[Power Management]-[Sleep Timer].
- Click [Modify Settings].
- Specify [Timer Interval], [Wake up at], and [Begin Sleep at], and then click [Save] when done.
