Windows Vista: Can't Connect to NAS by Name, but IP Address Works

							Client for Microsoft Networks is installed but is not configured by default.

 Go to [Control Panel] - [Network and Internet] - [Network Connections]. 
  | 
| 2. | 
 Right-click on the adapter, then choose "Properties". 
  | 
| 3. | 
 Go to the Properties of Client for Microsoft Networks and set the Name Service Provider to Windows Locator. 
  | 
| 4. | 
 It defaults to nothing in Vista, meaning no local name resolution.
