What to do if the USB drive is not recognized on the TeraStation or LinkStation

Connect a USB drive to a USB port on the TeraStation or LinkStation, then follow this procedure to recognize the devices.

Turn off the TeraStation or LinkStation. |

Turn off the USB drive. |
| 3. |
Turn on the USB drive. |
| 4. |
Turn on the TeraStation or LinkStation. |
Open the TereStation or LinkStation’s settings, then reformat the USB drive.
| Note: | A reformat deletes all data from a hard drive. Be careful! Back up any important data on a drive before reformatting it. |
